My dear plant friend Lemon Balm have been growing in my garden for 4 years and a companion, reminiscent, familiar comfort, & soothing to my nerves and well being.

She is easy to notice and enjoy as her smell is like a lemon lolly from childhood and she looks like mint, as she belongs to the mint family. Under the Planets of Jupiter, Venus and Mercury, work on the water element is cooling, with slightly sour flavour.

So she is for that reason good for digestion, I’ve found her help me over the years calming, gentle when I’m unsettled, restless, and sleeplessness is upon me. Which correlates to its life restoring benefits for heat/damp/stagnate energies.

Being one to have had cold sores on and off for many years, Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis), now is the one I turn to when I feel the tingle for assistance, such an ally, with its antibacterial, anti fungal, and antiviral herbal benefits.

Its such a great supportive herb for the digestive system, the immune system, and the nervous system.

A great herb for children, Lemon Balm can be drunk before bed to alleviate nightmares and is good for those children who are prone to anxiety about school, exams, and general performance. In cases of hyperthyroidism, Lemon Balm has shown to have hormone-regulating effects that help to rebalance thyroid function.

The women I work with and support on their Birth journey and Postpartum I always recommend to work with Lemon Balm when they need, support for indigestion, even if baby has colic when breast feeding can help Mama infant connection.

This batch was brewing over summer from the Full Moon, for 9 weeks for slow infusion for this humble herbs plant benefits being absorbed by the power of raw honey and pure alcohol.

Its delicious sweet Lemon Balm Elixir is appropriate for children (baby’s over 1 year old) most tasty and easy to take in H2O with 5 - 40 drops (as needed ) or in warm water if you would like the vodka to evaporate.

Available in few sizes to test and keep for personal and family ally for balance and thriving.
